Article about the Program
There's an article in today's Washington Post about the Organizing Fellowships. It turns out there are 3,600 of us. It's a fairly basic article, but it does say that there were 10,000 applicants, so it turns out that those essays and phone interview were actually important.

Training Information
I got an e-mail about training. It was sent to approximately 180 people, which is a bit larger than I had anticipated. I had sort of hoped to be able to distinguish myself and catch someones eye and attempt to move up the food chain (aka try to get some $$), but that seems a bit more difficult. We'll see what ends up happening, but I'm predictably making myself nervous.

The Call
I finally got a call from the campaign today. Training starts the 14th in Philly at 9 am. I'm not going to be there until the 15th because of stuff at home, but I got that cleared. Dress code is apparently fairly casual. The young woman on the phone said that jeans were fine, I didn't ask about shorts, but I'll see how it goes. She said I'd be outside and moving around, so I'm guessing they'd be ok. I don't have anything actually going on, which means lots of time and nothing to write about. a.k.a. booring posts
